As we approach @ninarajarani Company’s 35th Anniversary celebrations on 26 April @harrowartscentre , #Pulse pays tribute to to this formidable artist, who has dominated UK stages for more than three decades.
From her University days of ‘cutting classes’ to arrive @bhavanlondon to dance all day with her Guru and dance partner @yadaguddeprakash to her @aceagrams award to study in Chennai, setting up her own school @srishti_dance_school aged 21, to creating productions year on year and winning the @theplacelondon award for choreography her output is relentless.
We share an insightful and loving portrait of Nina by her student the equally well known and respected #kirtan singer @jahnavi_harrison from the Pulse archives #linknabio
