Music for the Mind and Soul: Sur, Violin Fest

This edition of Music for the Mind & Soul stars up and coming young violinists from amongst the most talented young musicians of the country. They present absorbing short improvised and composed works in Milapfest's annual showcase "Sur" for "maestros in the making". The young artists' authentic training in Indian Classical Music is developed in Britain, honed in an atmosphere of global musical influences, giving them a unique perspective on the genre.

Confluence with SAMYO

Confluence showcases Samyo, the UK’s only South Asian Music Youth Orchestra. The orchestra is known for its creative combinations of Classical and Contemporary styles and for bringing this new generation of orchestral Indian music to new audiences.
