Unlocking Creativity Shorts

Cutting-edge dance by artists working within the South Asian dance genres.

Kadam has been running a choreography Course by the title of Unlocking Creativity since 2009, and the UC Shorts represents some of the best work that has emerged from the participating dancers.  The dancers work in a variety of styles including South Asian classical, yoga, martial arts, contemporary and African dance forms. Each piece shows the artist in an individual light and tackles issues of gender and race, questioning the boundaries of audience engagement and participation.
