SAMPRADAYAM

An evening featuring two instruments that are iconic to Indian Classical Music. The concert will be presented in two halves. Smt Subathra Raguraman will start the proceedings as she lends her smooth touches to the vina. The second half will feature Sri Balu Raguraman on the violin, as he continues to collaborate with some of the greatest percussionists from the world of Indian classical music.

OVERTONE WORKSHOP

This one-day overtone singing workshop for beginners covers all the basic mouth positions and theory to get everyone singing overtones. 

The workshop is conducted by Overtone singer Rollin Rachele, who has a First class honours degree in Indian classical music, which the Bhavan has been running in association with Trinity Laban.
