Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration in Harrow

Srishti has been commissioned by the Harrow Arts Centre to create a new piece that will be inter-generational, multi-cultural and with live music. This is being choreographed by Nina Rajarani MBE with music composed by Y Yadavan. This is part of the London Borough of Harrow’s celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, including a visit by the Royals themselves!

South Asian Dance Teachers’ Forum

AKADEMI: SHANE SHAMBHU/ARUNIMA KUMAR

A mixed bill from two UK-based South Asian dance artists presented by Akademi.  

Arunima will present a classical Kuchipudi performance whilst Shane, whose company creates dynamic visual theatre rooted in the South Indian dance form of bharatanatyam, will give a very diferent performance. A mixed bill it certainly will be.
